Full-Day Tour to Floreana Island from Santa Cruz

Tour Duration: Approximately 10-11 hours

Itinerary Description

07:00 - 07:30 AM – Hotel Pick-up

• The tour begins with a transfer from your hotel in Puerto Ayora to the dock, where we will board a speedboat to Floreana Island. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed at the time of booking.


08:00 AM – Departure to Floreana Island

• We set sail towards Floreana Island, a journey of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. During the trip, you may have the chance to spot dolphins, marine birds, and even whales (seasonal).


10:00 AM – Arrival at Floreana and Visit to Asilo de la Paz

• Once we arrive in Puerto Velasco Ibarra, we take a short ride in a local vehicle (chiva) to visit:

Asilo de la Paz, a historic site where early settlers lived.

Pirate Caves, once used as hideouts.

Freshwater springs, the only natural water source on the island.

Giant tortoises in a semi-natural habitat.


12:30 PM – Lunch in a Local Restaurant

• A delicious lunch featuring fresh local ingredients will be served at a family-run restaurant on the island.


01:30 PM – Snorkeling at La Lobería

• After lunch, we visit La Lobería, a beach famous for:

Snorkeling with sea lions.

• Observing tropical fish, sea turtles, and rays.

• Relaxing on the black volcanic sand beach.


03:00 PM – Free Time and Return to Santa Cruz

• After enjoying the beach and wildlife, we return to the dock to board the speedboat back to Santa Cruz.


05:30 - 06:00 PM – Arrival in Puerto Ayora and Transfer to Your Hotel

• Upon arrival, our vehicles will take you back to your hotel in Puerto Ayora.

✔ Use comfortable hiking shoes or sandals for the walk.
